Free MS certification exam opportunity at Ignite 2020

On September 22nd Microsoft Ignite 2020 will start.
Ignite is one of the biggest conferences about Microsoft technologies. It’s an incredible opportunity to meet product teams, MVPs, and other community heroes for networking; this should be enough to make it valuable for you. But, like in the 2019 edition, Microsoft offers some additional value for attendees: the opportunity to get a voucher for a free Microsoft certification exam.

I had the chance to be in Orlando during the 2018 and 2019 editions, and it was a great experience. In 2019, I leveraged the free-exams opportunity during the conference, completing AZ-301 and AZ-302 and earning the badge as Azure Solution Architect Expert. As you can imagine, that was relevant for my career and represented an excellent way to complete a fantastic week.

Due to the pandemic, the Ignite 2020 edition has changed a bit from initial announcements. Let’s say goodbye to New Orleans :'( and welcome a free online event. People won’t have the opportunity to meet tech superstars live, but going online and for free will open the conference to more attendees.

Like the event itself, also the rules to earn the free exam voucher slightly changed this year. To gain it, you need to complete at least one Microsoft Ignite Cloud Skill Challenge. Follow this link to learn more about the rules and what exams are available with the voucher. For any challenge you complete, you can also raise your chance of being a winner in the sweepstakes and have the opportunity to meet a Microsoft VIP!

Well, there are tons of reasons to be part of Ignite 2020. I hope to virtually meet you there next week!
